Born and raised in London, Nish Kumar is a staple of the UK’s stand-up circuit, earning rave reviews for his solo shows at the Edinburgh Fringe, two of which were nominated for the Best Show award. A regular of the airwaves, he was first heard on his own BBC Radio 4 show, Spotlight Tonight, and has hosted The News Quiz and Newsjack.

Kumar is also one of the most omnipresent comedians on our TV screens and has appeared in popular shows such as Mock The Week, Taskmaster, Q.I., Live At The Apollo, Have I Got News For You, 8 Out Of 10 Does Countdown, The John Bishop Show and many more.

In recent times, he has starred alongside fellow comic Joel Domett in a six-part travel show for Comedy Central dubbed Joel & Nish Vs The World and has hosted his own satirical spoof news series, The Mash Report for BBC Two. In 2020, Kumar created and starred in the series Hello America for QUIBI.

Expect Kumar to joke about climate collapse, income inequality and the emotional sensation of being a British Indian man who didn’t vote for a British Indian PM. In addition to Bristol, ‘Nish, Don’t Kill My Vibe’ will visit London, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Newcastle, Leicester, Cardiff, Birmingham, Leeds, Sheffield, Liverpool and more.
