There’s plenty going on around Bristol this weekend, the final bank holiday before Christmas, and Bristol’s very own magic themed theatre-pub is no different.

Always at the pinnacle of the city’s live entertainment scene, Smoke & Mirrors have a busy weekend of magic, live music and comedy shows planned with house favourites as well as a very special touring act all descending on the intimate venue.

On Thursday night, there will be two shows with house magician Daniel Chard performing miraculous magical feats at both 7 PM and 9 PM. The venue has partnered with Groupon and Wowcher for a tasty couple’s offer that includes 2x tickets, 2x glasses of prosecco plus food!

Friday and Saturday will see house magicians Mark Bennett and Daniel Chard (Friday) plus Mark Bennett and Chris Smith (Saturday) performing their comedy and magic shows. There will also be FREE close-up bar magic all night from 6 PM and live music from 10 PM until late.

As the Edinburgh Fringe Festival draws to a close, the Joke & Mirrors Monday Night Comedy Events will continue on Monday with a set from North Devon funnyman Luke Honnoraty. The cheeky observational comedian has supported such illustrious names as Katherine Ryan and Joel Dommet.

Situated on Denmark Street, just around the corner from The Bristol Hippodrome, Smoke & Mirrors is a place of fun for anybody who loves magic, comedy, drinks and a fun atmosphere. It’s the perfect spot for a pre-theatre drink, or as the culmination of your night, with a busy weekly programme.
