Where To Watch The Euros 2024 in Bristol

Where To Watch The Euros 2024 in Bristol

Posted on: 11 Jun 2024

Catch all the action this summer at one of Bristol's various top-notch venues as Gareth Southgate's Three Lions head to Germany.

It's that time again: building up unreasonable expectations, debating the inclusion of players at the periphery of the squad, panicking at a defeat in a largely meaningless warm-up game, and, finally, coming to the conclusion that 'It's Coming Home!'.

This must be one of England's best chances of winning a trophy since their famous World Cup win in 1966 - an astonishing 58 years! The Three Lions squad boasts such stars as Real Madrid star Jude Bellingham, Premier League Player of the Season Phil Foden and, of course, all-time England goalscorer, Harry Kane.

Having said that, there's always room for scepticism with Southgate and co falling in the latter stages at the last two World Cups and the final hurdle at Euro 2020. With fitness concerns to key players - Harry Maguire didn't make the squad, Luke Shaw isn't fully fit and there are doubts over Bukayo Saka's condition - and a shock defeat to Iceland in their final pre-Euros friendly, the classic misgivings are beginning to set in.

However, International tournaments are the perfect occasions for people from all walks of life to unite in the top-quality boozers up and down the country and Bristol is no different: offering everything from hidden gem watering holes, trendy breweries and football stadiums - with Ashton Gate's 2016 screening of England v Wales becoming a global meme (see below)!
