Tickets are now on sale for Katy J Pearson’s return to Bristol this November – but are likely to sell out soon.

Katy J Pearson, the Bristolian darling of folk-pop, is returning once more to her home to play what will no doubt be another stellar live show on Friday 29 November – and tickets have just gone on sale. Her last performance in Bristol sold out at lightspeed – so don’t miss your chance.

Katy J Pearson is a star who only keeps rising – quickly becoming a powerful force in both the local and national music scenes, she’s known for her synthesis of country, pop, and folk into songs that slide between aching melancholy and toe-tapping dancefloor rhythms.

Described as a “pop singer-songwriter for the modern catastrophic age”, Katy J Pearson goes from strength to strength: her powerful solo album offerings include 2022’s Sound of the Morning, which saw her buoyed to performances on Jools Holland and LA’s FLOOD Neighbourhoods Sessions.

Having previously played festivals from Bristol Sounds, to the most recent edition of FORWARDS, to even Glastonbury, her pedigree is clear to see. As if that wasn’t enough, she keeps quite illustrious company – with collaborations with everyone from post-punkers Yard Act, to iconic electronic outfit Metronomy, and beloved newcomers Wet Leg.

Katy J Pearson also engages in playful yet moving projects with friends, like Katy J Pearson & Friends Presents Songs From The Wicker Man – an album released to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the seminal film, that was recently released (to frenzied excitement) on vinyl as part of Record Store Day. After a sold-out gig this month, Katy J Pearson will return this November, Friday 29, to play a larger gig at SWX. Tickets are on sale now, but likely to sell out quickly.

Her new album, Someday, Now is described as “Unquestionably her most confident, assured, and honest album to date”, Someday, Now is ten tracks of hooky, brilliant songwriting showcasing Katy at her best – no doubt mesmerising as part of a live performance.

Katy J Pearson will be coming to SWX on Friday, November 29. Tickets will go on sale a week from tomorrow, Friday 31 May. For your tickets, head here.
