Forget Jurassic Park—Avon Valley Adventure Park is now the ultimate destination for dinosaur enthusiasts! From Saturday, May 25 to Sunday, June 2 the park is hosting Dinosaur Valley: LIVE!

An interactive and “ROARsome May Half Term event, this exciting dinosaur-themed experience promises to be the biggest in the South West, featuring animatronic dinosaurs in their riverside home.

As you wander through the park, you’ll encounter walking dinosaurs, and if you’re feeling brave, you can even come face-to-face with a raptor. This immersive experience brings the prehistoric world to life, creating unforgettable moments that have previously only been seen in books and movies.

Visitors can snap photos with these ancient giants at various photo spots throughout the park, making for perfect mementos of your adventure. Throughout the day, theatrical performances, including those at the Dinosaur Research Lab, will keep you entertained. Children and their families can engage in the hatching area, witnessing the birth of park dinosaurs.

Live shows featuring the Jurassic Explorers will be held intermittently, offering even more fun and learning opportunities. For budding palaeontologists, the fossils excavation zone allows you to dig for dinosaur bones and unearth ancient secrets. Additionally, the Dinosaur Observation Post lets you dive deep into the past with expert guides, providing a closer look at these magnificent creatures in their natural habitat.

Doug Douglas, the owner of Avon Valley Wildlife Park, is clearly thrilled about the event. “Dinosaurs are something many people never expect to be able to get close to and interact with, so it’s really special to offer this opportunity as part of Dinosaur Valley: Live!” he said. “We want to spark the imaginations of our young explorers and inspire them to learn more about the historical creatures we all know and love”.

This clearly isn’t a wildlife adventure to miss out on – so head to their website now to get your tickets for Dinosaur Valley: Live!
