Posted on: 10 May 2024

It’s that time of the year again when a whole heap of national and local acts descends on Bristol for one of the city’s favourite multi-venue festivals.

Dot To Dot Festival runs all day across various Bristol venues on Saturday 25 May 2024.

With already announced big hitters including Mercury-nominated experimental pop duo Jockstrap, indie rock sensation Wunderhorse and BBC 6 Music favourite Antony Szmierek already on the bill, the festival has today announced a new selection of exciting and diverse local acts.

Tickets are still available to purchase from the festival website.

Local artists to look out for include live circuit jank-pop favourites Belishas, indie pop singer-songwriter Mitch Sanders, gothic art-pop duo The Rothmans, avant-folk outfit Foot Foot, playful art-rockers Factor 50, noisy art rock trio Sunglasz Vendor and cult splurge-pop six-piece Trans-Siberian Express.

There will also be fervent live sets from local up-and-comers Eve Appleton Band, Knives, Dreamwave, Droogs, Hamburger, Gold Fever, Hector Who Lived, Lorcán, The Shania Twainsaw Massacre, Night Swimming, Underbliss and a whole lot more – browse the full lineup on the festival website.

These exciting Bristol names will be joining UK favourites including upbeat rock n roll three-piece The Bug Club, online New York sensation The Dare, Welsh language post-punk band Adwaith, experimental electronic artist BABYMOROCCO and lo-fi London project C Turtle.

Also playing this year’s festival are experimental techno specialists EBBB, political Irish punks Gurriers, rock n roll celebrity duo His Lordship, left-field pop artists Kaeto, post-rock buzz band Ugly, genre-defying storyteller MAUVEY and many more.

The Bristol venues hosting bands at this year’s festival are O2 Academy Bristol, SWX, Thekla, Dockside, The Fleece, The Louisiana, Rough Trade, Strange Brew, Dareshack, Four Quarters, Mr Wolfs and The Lanes.
