A Sausage and Cider festival is coming to Bristol in Spring!

Returning to the city for the first time since 2019, this ever-popular food and drink festival will take over the new Bristol venue Document in April.

 

Sausage and Cider Festival will take over Pennywell Road’s Document on Saturday 27 April 2024.

 

Split into an afternoon and evening session, all tickets for this festival include entry plus all the entertainment and entry to the stage eating competition – if you’re brave enough! Whatever session you purchase a ticket for, you’ll be granted five hours of drinking and eating.

Sausage and Cider Festival is a wonderful day out for all Bristolian zider heads interested in tasting the very best ciders – whether that be fruit, traditional or wackier flavours! You’ll also be able to enjoy the festival’s famous range of sausages, with traditional bangers, German bratwurst, and chilli flavour sausages.

 

This is the perfect event for anyone looking for a great afternoon or evening, trying old favourites or discovering new ciders from top independent suppliers. The Bristol festival will feature more than 25 ciders, with a range of other beverages also available.

 

The food at Sausage and Cider Festival is exactly what you’d expect, there’ll be a mouth-watering range of sausages, hand-picked from expert butchers with a great range of sizes, flavours and styles.

 

Away from the culinary delights on offer, the festival works with a diverse range of unsigned and independent music artists, providing a range of 90s and brit pop covers that everyone can sing along to. On top of the live music programme, a resident DJ will be in attendance; playing throughout the sessions and at the part hour which closes each session.

 

There will also be an exciting set of stage games for attendees to get involved in! You can either try your hand at the legendary sausage eating competition or a chilli eating competition, eating as much sausage, or the hottest chilli respectively.
