Tickets are now live for Penny Brohn UK’s annual Christmas Carol Concert

Taking place at Clifton College Chapel, this will be an uplifting and festive evening of carols, mulled wine and mice pies, celebrating Christmas in the best possible way.

 

This year’s Peter Brohn UK Christmas Carol Concert will take place at Clifton College Chapel, Bristol on Friday 8 December 2023.

 

Ticket prices for this special Christmas event start at £7 for a child and £12 for an adult with family bundles (2 adults and up to 2 children) available for £35. Every penny raised from this concert will help Penny Brohn UK to champion personalised cancer care and help more people to live well with cancer,

This magical evening concert will feature special performances from talented local choirs and musicians including the Bristol Male Voice Choir, The Owls of Pill and Bristol Cathedral Choir School. Throughout, there will be plenty of chances to chime in for well-known Christmas carols and tunes – so make sure you’re warming up your vocal cords!

 

The concert will be presented by none other than Ali Vowles! A well-known face and voice throughout the South West thanks to her work for BBC Points West and BBC Radio Bristol, over the years she has supported hundreds of local charities and causes.

 

Speaking about this opportunity, Vowles has said: ‘Hosting Penny Brohn UK’s Christmas Concert this year will be such an honour. It’s all the more personal for me as the charity is currently supporting a very good friend of mine.”

 

The journalist and presenter also commented on the event itself: “So many people have been helped by this wonderful charity. I know the beautiful music performed by our talented local musicians and choirs – in the magical surroundings of Clifton College Chapel – will make it a night to remember.”

 

Away from the music, mulled wine, mince pies and sausage rolls will be available to purchase during the interval as well as a festive-themed raffle, with all proceeds going to Penny Brohn UK. So, dig deep into your pockets and prepare for an evening jam-packed with festive cheer!
