Bristol Zoo Project, formerly The Wild Place, are welcoming all the family through their gates later this month for a special ‘Howl-oween’ event.

Howl-oween runs at Bristol Zoo Project from Saturday 21 October until Sunday 5 November 2023.

This spook-tacular Howl-oween trail takes visitors around the zoo, matching x-rays, and bones with the correct animals. Explorers of all ages can discover how animals’ skeletons adapt to their diet and lifestyle, finding fun and surprising facts along the way!

Book your visit from the Bristol Zoo Project website to receive 10% off.

When on the trail, make sure you visit the ‘House of Bones’ to discover some astonishing animal skulls, bones, skins and more. At the end, young visitors will be able to play a game of trick or treat and win a surprise.

There’s plenty of other exciting activities to get stuck into, not lease the witch’s campsite. Step into this spooky space and join in with creepy craft making (ideal for ages 2-10) and hear Halloween themed stories (ages 2-8).

Other sights perfect for Halloween include the pack of grey wolves - who live alongside the brown bears, wolverines and lynxes - in the Bear Wood and the Lemur Walkthrough where you can find yourself face to face with the adorable creatures – no barriers!

The site’s woodlands provide the perfect autumnal back to the trip, why not challenge yourself to find conkers, jays, acorns and more with the special spotter sheet? Throughout the Zoo Project, there are plenty of kids activities to get involved with such as play areas and the Leap of Faith outdoor climbing adventure.

Howl-oween runs at Bristol Zoo Project from Saturday 21 October until Sunday 5 November 2023.

Online day tickets are priced at £14.69 for adults, £11.42 for children and under 2s/carers go free – buy your tickets HERE.
