IDLES frontman to perform special DJ set at Propyard’s Hoptoberfest

Taking place in November, Bristolian hop heads should prepare themselves for an action-packed weekend of steins, bratwurst, Bavarian banter and banging tunes.

 

Hoptoberfest runs at Propyard, Feeder Road on Friday 10 and Saturday 11 November 2023.

 

Back by hop-ular demand, this is one of Bristol’s top craft beer festivals, serving up steins and steins of beer and cider from brilliant breweries from Bristol and beyond, all served up with a side of bratwurst and good times. Bringing Bristol’s thriving beer and music scene together, this is all set to be an extra special weekend.

Attendees can expect classic tunes to be pumping throughout the day with a headline DJ set from Joe Talbot of iconic Bristol rock band IDLES. Talbot will be taking over the decks on Saturday 11 with legendary DJ Norman Jay MBE taking to the booth on Friday 10 November.

 

The two-day event will feature produce from the crème de le crème of indie breweries from Bristol and further afield providing unlimited pours. For those who aren’t a fan of beer, there will be a delicious lineup of ciders, wines, spirits and soft drinks.

 

Draught highlights include Arbor Ales, Left Handed Giant, Wiper & True, Lost and Grounded, Fierce & Noble, Brick Brewery, JUBEL, Hackney Church, Bristol Cider Company, Ciderbox, Electric Bear, Beyond Belief Brewing, Kicking Goat Cider and By The Numbers Brewing as well as a selection of street food vendors including German bratwurst and schnitzel.

 

Hoptoberfest will take place at Propyard’s multi-purpose space, Crane Room with the full brewery lineup yet to be announced in addition to food traders and music. The event will be ran across three session – one Friday night (6 PM – 11 PM) and two on Saturday (12 PM – 5 PM and 6 PM – 11 PM).
