Coming to Bristol this weekend, The Makings Of A Murderer investigates the UK’s most chilling serial killers, hosted by The Scottish Detective, David Swindle.

 

The Making Of A Murderer tour drops by Bristol’s The Redgrave Theatre on Saturday 9 September 2023.

 

Bristolian true crime fans should prepare themselves for a chilling, thrilling, night with experienced former detective David Swindle, amongst hundreds of other serious crime investigations, was integral in the effort to bring Scottish serial killer Peter Tobin to justice.

From Jack the Ripper, Harold Shipman and Peter Sutcliffe to Fred and Rose West and The Moors Murderers Ian Brady and Myra Hindley, The Makings Of A Murderer gives gore hungry audiences the detective’s perspective into these grizzly figures.

 

Ready yourselves for a unique insight into the minds of the murderers, find out what made them tick, how they were caught, famous cases yet to be solved, and those with connections to the local area… from someone on the inside.

 

David Swindle (pictured below) is the perfect host for the occasion with more than 34 years of police service and hundreds of murder investigations under his belt, including the terrible crimes of Peter Tobin, who was sentenced for the three murders and reportedly claimed in prison to have killed many more.

Dating back to 1966, The Redgrave Theatre is a Clifton theatre with a diverse programme of theatre, comedy shows, dance performances, talks and children’s shows.
