I’m Muslamic Don’t Panik, Margaret Thatcher Queen of Soho and Women Who Gave No F*cks all tackle issues around identity, and they’re all running at the South Bristol theatre in September.

Tobacco Factory Theatres is one of the most innovative performance venues in Bristol. It presents a diverse, year-round programme of creative, dynamic performances including traditional and modern theatre plus comedy, dance, family shows, film, music, opera, puppetry and more.

Book your tickets now from the Tobacco Factory website.

Tuesday 19 and Wednesday 20 September 2023 will see I’m Muslamic Don’t Panik take to the stage. This intimate tale of identity explores the point where being British, Iranian and a hip-hop head collide. Expect spoken word, dance, live music and clowning, as well as post-show Persian tea and biscuits.

Running from Thursday 21 to Saturday 23 September, Margaret Thatcher Queen of Soho will see The Iron Lady return in her smash hit drag extravaganza! Off the back of Edinburgh Fringe sell-outs, a UK tour and a West End run, this fabulous show follows Maggie on the eve of the Section 28 vote when she gets lost in Soho, accidentally becoming a cabaret superstar.

Tickets for this big gay odyssey about LGBTQ+ rights, the 80s and disco can be purchased here.

Returning to Tobacco Factory on Wednesday 27 and Thursday 28 September is Women Who Gave No F*cks. Complete with glittering prizes, a human clap-o-meter and total power to decide the Supreme Giver of Absolutely None? Brace yourselves for no-holds-barred tales to make you want to rip up the rule book and riot!

Secure your tickets for this celebratory, inspiring night (aimed equally at men and women) here.

Also gracing the Tobacco Factory stage in September are Jordan Gray’s Is It A Bird?, Worklight Theatre’s Fanboy, Bingo At Tiffany’s with Audrey Heartburn, Paul Sinha’s Pauly Bengali and much more. Discover all these and more on the theatre website.
