Join Propyard next weekend for a feel-good celebratory party packed with reggae rhythms, unmissable performances, and a guaranteed lively atmosphere.

 

Propyard’s Jamaican Independence Day Celebration will take place on Saturday 5 August 2023.

 

With a headline set from world-renowned reggae sensation Tippa Irie, a host of other exciting acts, an incredible selection of food and drink and tickets available for just £4, Propyard is sure to be heaving.

Propyard’s Jamaican Independence Day celebrations will be spearheaded by the incredible Tippa Irrie, the legendary Jamaican-born artist, known for his infectious energy and mesmerising vocals. Armed with hits including ‘Hello Darling’ and ‘Complain Neighbour’, the reggae rhythms will have you moving all night long.

 

There will also be a performance from the groundbreaking Bristol duo, Dubkasm. Prepare yourself for an electrifying performance with their fusion of deep bass, dub rhythms and enchanting melodies, guaranteed to transport you to the heart of the Jamaican reggae scene.

 

The lineup does not stop there with soulful artist Lexxi with her rare blend of reggae and R&B and Yuseemi, known for their infectious beats and catchy hooks, also taking to the stage.

 

If it’s a more old-school, authentic roots reggae sound you’re looking for, Qualitex Roots Vibration have you sorted with Steve Rice (Down Beat Belody) also gearing up to take you on a magical musical journey through his extensive collection of reggae classics.

 

Alongside the music, Propyard will be serving up mouth-watering Caribbean food sure to get your taste buds going. £1 from each ticket will be donated to the Bristol Rastafari Culture Club (a community hub that has been serving Bristol for 40 years) for much-needed repairs.
