Windmill Hill Market will once more take over the City Farm next month

The popular market features over 50 stalls featuring designer makers, street food, local produce, and vintage clothing as well as live music and a taproom.

 

Windmill Hill Market runs on the first Saturday of every month (from April to December) between 10 AM and 3 PM.

 

With the next edition scheduled for Saturday 5 August, this new Bedminster-based market aims to showcase the best of the local community whether that be creatives, food producers or any other independent businesses.

At the Windmill Hill Market, attendees will be greeted with a range of first-rate handmade goods, beautiful prints, cards and original artwork, vintage clothing, quality homewares, street food and much more, all sourced from ethical independents from Bristol and the surrounding area.

 

The market has newly teamed up with Lou Mack of MACK Vintage to set up a vintage and retro section dubbed ‘Thrift Avenue Vintage & Retro’, the site is located on Clarke Street right next to the farm’s new open-air theatre. Each edition also features mouth-watering street food vendors, carefully picked from Bristol’s burgeoning foodie scene.

 

Visitors from further afield will marvel at the market’s location within a much-loved community hub and farm nestled within the back streets of South Bristol. After your shopping, you can relax in the farm’s peaceful community gardens or meet the various animals including cows, goats, pigs, ducks and chickens.

 

Recently, Windmill Hill City Farm announced the inaugural programme of their new open-air theatre with productions for both adults and children taking place throughout July and August. For more information, visit the farm’s website.
