West Lothian Lewis Capaldi first burst on the scene in early 2017 with the release of his debut single ‘Bruises’, an introspective track that perfectly captured the singer’s intimate piano and vocal sound.

Off the back of this one single, Capaldi sold out legendary Glasgow venue King Tut’s and, after releasing follow-up ‘Lost on You’, he was signed to Virgin Records. Both songs were included in the singer’s debut EP, Bloom, and he went on to win the Scottish Music Award for Breakthrough Artist of the Year.

Capaldi’s meteoric rise continued with the release of his debut LP, Divinely Uninspired to a Hellish Extent, in 2019 which featured an astonishing four Top Ten UK singles, including number ones: ‘Someone You Loved’ and ‘Before You Go’.

The former single spent eight weeks at the top of the charts and even had a one-week stay at Number One in the US. Capaldi earned a Grammy nomination for ‘Someone You Loved’ and, in 2020, the singer won the Brit Awards for both Song of the Year and Best New Artist.

Returning later this month with new album Broken By Desire To Be Heavenly Sent, Lewis Capaldi will play UK dates at Chepstow Racecourse, Manchester’s Wythenshawe Park, Reading and Leeds, Edinburgh’s Royal Highland Centre and Vital in Belfast – all of which are sold out.

With this in mind, fans would be advised to act quickly to secure their tickets for Lewis Capaldi’s album Q&A and acoustic performance at Marble Factory on Wednesday 24 May 2023.
