Motion announces bumper programme of summer day parties for 2023

The flagship Bristol club have today announced their full list of day parties for the summer months featuring a diverse mix of RnB, hip-hop, drum & bass, jungle, afrobeat, garage, house, techno and more.

 

Motion’s summer day party programme 2023 begins on Saturday 6 May with ‘Yard Open Air’ and finishes on Saturday 9 September.

 

Highlights of this impressive roster of events include two ‘Brooklyn Zoo’ day parties, a Kisstory party in June, an appearance from house mainstay Tom Zanetti and a whole lot more besides. Read on for a rundown of the action-packed programme.

Summer 2023 at Motion will kick off with the return of the venue’s signature Yard Open Air on Saturday 6 May. This bank holiday Yard special boasts an extra special lineup featuring Darius Syrossian, Mason Collective, Fleur Shore and many more exciting acts. Yard Open Air will then return once more on Sunday 27 August.

 

Party lovers can expect a healthy dose of garage, RnB and hip-hop when the Kisstory day party comes to town on Saturday 17 June while Saturday 10 June sees heads turn to D&B with record labels Critical Sound and 1985 Music featuring the likes of Enei, Halogenix, Skeptical, Visages, Kasra, Monty, Particle B2B T>I ft. Inja, Kyrist, Tasha and many more.

 

Another exciting event sees local favourites Born on Road teaming up with the iconic dancehall outfit Mungo’s Hi Fi on Saturday 19 August with a day and night of D&B and jungle. Elsewhere, on Saturday 2 September house and techno fans can expect a star-studded day party from London’s leading events brand ADOBE.

 

The August bank holiday weekend will also see Motion’s signature Summer Solstice garage rave return on Saturday 26 August and notorious local brand RUN will close Motion’s summer series on a high with a huge all-dayer on Saturday 9 September.
