Bristol’s biggest beer festival will return to the harbourside this summer

Posted on: 02 Mar 2023

Back at Bristol Harbourside in June to kick off the city’s summer season, beer fans and food fanatics alike will be flocking to Bristol Craft Beer Festival.

Bristol Craft Beer Festival is set to take place on Friday 9 and Saturday 10 June 2023.

Already the largest in the West of England, the festival is set to attract a record 5,000 visits this year when it appears at Bristol Amphitheatre under the summer sun. This immensely popular event is sure to prove a great celebration of Bristol’s brewing culture and the scene’s amazing creativity.

Tickets for the event can be purchased here.

Together with its sister events in Manchester and London, the festival has been a pioneer in the field of sampling-led beer events. Attendees have the opportunity to sample over 300 beers from over 50 world-class breweries.

This year festival goers can meet the crews and taste a full range of beers from local mainstays such as Wiper & True and Left Handed Giant, regional craft giants like Verdant Brewing and Tiny Rebel, as well as legendary breweries Timothy Taylor and Duvel.

The winners of ‘Raise the Bar’ (the UK’s newest brewers’ competition) will also be in attendance and attendees will be able to enjoy delicious drinks from other craft producers of cider, spirits and cocktails.

Bristol Craft Beer Festival 2023 also sees a stacked line-up of food vendors. Making their first visit to the city will be ACME Fire Cult who have been gaining national notoriety for their dishes fuelled by flame and fermentation. This is a real treat for Bristol foodies and there’s plenty more still to be announced.

Speaking about the festival, founder Greg Wells has said: “We can’t wait for June - it’s been a long, cold winter but it won’t be long before we’re kicking off Bristol’s festival season by packing out the Bristol Amphitheatre with brilliant breweries, chefs, DJs and bands. Not to mention the 5,000 Bristolians looking to discover and enjoy the very best in beer.

“We know Bristol loves to celebrate creativity, independence and community, and all those things are really at the core of our festival. That’s why we love doing this festival each year - being on the harbourside, surrounded by so many Bristol icons, in the sun, with everyone there, it’s unbeatable.”

Bristol Craft Beer Festival takes place each year at Bristol Amphitheatre on the harbourside. This year sees 3 sessions across the weekend of Friday 9 and Saturday 10 June 2023. Visit the festival website for information.

Each ticket includes entry to the festival, festival pours of any beer from any brewer, a full music lineup, access to the people that make the beer themselves and a free beer-tasting glass. Secure yours here.
