Propyard are gearing up for a bumper Easter weekend of Egg-cellent events

Live music from Nubiyan Twist and more, Good Family Friday and the opening Courtyard Social Party of the year are scheduled for this action-packed weekend.

 

Propyard is hosting an event each day between Thursday 6 and Saturday 8 April 2023.

 

With the sun now beginning to shine and thoughts turning towards outdoor events, Bristol’s very own worldclass event and exhibition space, Propyard, are kicking off a busy Spring and Summer programme with three cracking events over Easter Weekend.

Kicking off the jam-packed weekend on Thursday 6 April is a night of afrobeat, soul and hip-hop from Nubiyan Twist, K.O.G, Afriquoi and Ru Robinson. Taking over the Crane Room from 7 PM until midnight, Nubiyan Twist’s upbeat blend of groove-driven music and soulful female vocals is sure to get Propyard moving.

 

Also appearing on Thursday, multi-dimensional group K.O.G are sure to wow with impressive vocals and infectious dance moves that will be mimicked throughout the venue. Underground sensation Afriquoi DJ set and Ru Robinson will also be filling the dancefloor with flavours of Africa, Latin America and the Caribbean. 

 

Opening the Courtyard for the first time this year, Propyard is putting on an Easter family event for the ages with Good Family Friday on Friday 7. Beginning at 11 AM, this day of bouncy castles, craft activities and face paintings is sure to prove a spectacle for visitors of all ages with Friendly Records, DJ Dad and DJ Emma providing the soundtrack.

 

At 10.30 AM, much loved Bristol street artist, Farrah Fortnam, will be leading an Earth Workshop for all planet lovers. Youngsters can watch, learn, and create art focused on forests and oceans. From 12 PM, Farrah will also be running a Bollywood workshop, the perfect fun-filled activity for a special weekend.

 

Closing this bumper weekend on Saturday is Propyard’s opening Courtyard Social Party. Featuring a fantastic lineup of disco and house with Balearic and leftfield disco legend, Peter Herbert; music fanatic and wacky dresser Tigerbalm; and multi-talented Yorkshire girl Sassy Wylie.
