North-East native Sarah Millican has carved an impressive reputation for herself over the last 20 years as one of the country’s top comedians. Her debut 2008 Edinburgh Fringe show, ‘Sarah Millican’s Not Nice’, inspired by her divorce, won the if.comedy award and marked her as one of the UK's top funny women.

From there, Millican didn’t look back once with her observational, personal comedic style proving a winning formula for fans all over the country. She has appeared on every panel show under the sun, countless stand-up programmes and even had her own radio and television programmes.

Known for her trademark warm and bubbly style and musings on her own insecurities, the award-winning comedian has always focused on the domestic world and this is exactly what she’ll be doing in her brand new show ‘Late Bloomer’ which is set to be toured extensively throughout 2023 and 2024.

Sarah joins a long list of renowned comics scheduled to grace the brand-new stage after its five-year transformation. The exciting roster features the likes of Edinburgh Comedy and ARIA award-winning broadcaster John Robins, veteran stand-up supremo Ross Noble and omnipresent comic Romesh Ranganathan following an incredible sell-out show last year.

The news of Millican’s double header comes after the historic Bristol Beacon announce their highly anticipated reopening following an extensive renovation of the 2000+ capacity Beacon Hall, the 500 capacity Lantern Hall and the brand new 200 capacity Weston Cellar. The full reopening programme will be revealed in the coming months.
