Glen Matlock, Clem Burke, Katie Puckrik and more are coming together to mark 45 years of Iggy Pop’s seminal masterpiece, Lust For Life, with a string of live shows.

The Lust For Life anniversary tour will kick off at Bristol’s Exchange on Tuesday 28 February.

The Godfather Of Punk’s’ ground-breaking sophomore album will be played in full, followed by a second set of songs from the band members’ respective careers with artists including Blondie, David Bowie and The Sex Pistols.

Tickets are priced at £20 and can be found HERE.

Attendees will have the opportunity to see Lust For Life and a range of other classic tunes performed by an all-star cast of the very best punk has to offer. Three of these band members made music with Iggy Pop at one time or another.

Legendary Blondie drummer, Clem Burke, will be joined by pioneering Sex Pistol Glen Matlock on bass; broadcaster and Pet Shop Boys dancer Katie Puckrik on vocals; Iggy and Bowie collaborator Kevin Armstrong and Earl Slick touring member Luis Correia on guitar, and classical pianist Florence Sabeva on keys.

Iggy Pop is credited by many as the founding father of punk with a lengthy catalogue of radical work both as a solo artist and in his band, The Stooges. Lust For Life is Iggy’s second studio album and was released in 1977 with production from the artist’s dear friend and collaborator David Bowie.

Often seen as a guitar music essential, Lust For Life and Iggy’s other projects have had a lasting effect on punk music, inspiring acts such as Depeche Mode, Nirvana, The Sex Pistols, Queens of the Stone Age and Black Flag.

As well as Bristol, the Lust For Life anniversary tour will drop by venues in London, Liverpool, Hull, Hebden Bridge, Edinburgh, Dublin, Colchester and St Leonards.

This unmissable tour will kick off at Bristol’s Exchange on Tuesday 28 February. Tickets can be found HERE.
