Showing at The Bristol Hippodrome for almost two weeks this Autumn, Pretty Woman The Musical is preparing for a massive tour of the UK.

 

Pretty Woman: The Musical will run at The Bristol Hippodrome from Tuesday 31 October to Saturday 11 November 2023.

Once upon a time in the late 1980s, Vivian met Edward and, from then, her life changed forever. This beautiful tale will sweep audiences up in their romance with a dazzlingly theatrical take on a love story for the ages.

 

Get to know these iconic characters in a whole new way thanks to a sensational show guaranteed to lift your spirits and light up your heart. Pretty Woman: The Musical includes all the original music and lyrics of Grammy Award winner Bryan Adams and Jim Vallance as well as a book by Garry Marshall and the film’s screenwriter J.F. Lawton.

 

The musical also features Roy Orbison and Bill Dee’s smash hit sensation, ‘Oh, Pretty Woman’ – the inspiration for the original film. Starring Julia Roberts and Richard Gere, the 1990 movie remains one of the world’s best-loved rom-coms to this day.

This success can be measured by the immense popularity of Pretty Woman: The Musical which launched at Chicago’s Oriental Theatre in March 2018 before running at Broadway and beyond.

 

The production is directed and choreographed by two-time Tony Award winner Jerry Mitchell as well as a supreme team of designers and musicians with a casting set to be announced in the near future.

 

In addition to Bristol, Pretty Woman: The Musical’s UK and Ireland tour will visit theatres in Birmingham, Glasgow, Wolverhampton, Liverpool, Hull, London, York, Manchester, Milton Keynes, Edinburgh, Plymouth, Cardiff, Leeds, Sunderland, Belfast, Cork, Dublin, Southampton, Nottingham and Sheffield among others.
