New seaside tribute festival is coming to Weston-super-Mare

The brand-new outdoor event, named Lookalike Tribute Festival, looks set to be a riotous affair with a raft of top-quality musical doppelgangers.

 

Lookalike Tribute Festival, Weston-super-Mare will take place on Sunday 11 June 2023.

 

The all-day summer festival will feature an array of the UK’s finest tribute bands playing music from iconic acts including ABBA, The Beatles, Queen, Elton John, David Bowie and Fleetwood Mac with plenty more yet to be announced.

Attendees can expect a packed programme of stunning live acts with a plethora of local street food stalls, other festival style activities and a family friendly atmosphere that all can enjoy.

 

In terms of music, there will be support acts playing songs from John, Paul, George and Ringo; legendary rock outfit Queen; pop rock icons Fleetwood Mac; Swedish Europop superstars ABBA; the ‘Starman’ himself David Bowie and ‘Rocket Man’ National treasure, Elton John with more artists still to be announced.

 

With this in mind, attendees can look forward to dancing under the blazing sun (yes, we know that’s difficult to envision right now) to classic hits including ‘Tiny Dancer’, ‘We Will Rock You’, ‘Heroes’, ‘Dancing Queen’ and ‘Hey Jude’.

 

A festival spokesperson has stated: “ We are bringing together the UK's finest tribute bands for a huge all day music festival to celebrate a whole era of music and culture."

Lookalike Tribute Festival, Weston-super-Mare will take place on Sunday 11 June 2023 at Tropicana Weston, Marine Parade, Weston-super-Mare and will run from 12 PM until 10 PM.

 

Early Bird tickets for the festival are currently available for £11.25 with VIP tickets (including a private VIP balcony with access to a private bar and VIP toilets as well as queue jumping) available for £38.75.
