The Grammy Award-nominated sister duo have announced a massive 2023 UK and European tour including a massive London show at The Roundhouse and a trip to O2 Academy Bristol.

Having just released their critically acclaimed new album Blood Harmony which is competing for a Top 20 UK chart position, the Grammy Award-nominated sister duo Larkin Poe today reveal details of a huge UK and European tour which commences in October 2023.

Larkin Poe will visit O2 Academy Bristol on Tuesday 17 October.

The tour sees Larkin Poe - the Georgia-born and bred, Nashville-based multi-instrumentalist sisters Rebecca and Megan Lovell - scaling up the size of many venues from their previous visit this summer.

In May 2022 they sold out a London show at the O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire, a gig which featured a special surprise guest appearance from Keith Urban. This new tour will see them headline London’s significantly larger Roundhouse on Saturday 21 October.

Rebecca and Megan Lovell have spoken about the tour, saying: "UK & European music lovers, the time has come — we are so excited to be coming back to tour in support of our 'Blood Harmony' album; go get your tickets now & we'll see you in 2023."

The tour represents the first opportunity for UK and European fans to see Larkin Poe headline shows in support of the Blood Harmony album. The record affirms the duo as an essential force in shaping the identity of Southern rock ‘n’ roll, breathing new energy into the genre with both a forward-thinking perspective and a decidedly feminine strength.

Larkin Poe co-produced the new album alongside Tyler Bryant (Rebecca’s husband) with Megan handling harmony vocals, lap steel, and resonator guitar and Rebecca on guitar and keys, they also enlisted members of their long-term live band, including drummer Kevin McGowan and bassist Tarka Layman.

Primarily recorded at Rebecca and Tyler’s home studio, the result is an electrifying new work that fully harnesses the fiery vitality they’ve shown in touring across the globe, imbuing their songs with equal parts soulful sensitivity and thrilling ferocity.

From the feverish guitar work of ‘Bad Spell’ to the soul-stirring ‘Southern Comfort’ and the smouldering title track, ‘Blood Harmony’ reveals a band in complete touch with their formidable intuition, their storytelling fortified with a blues-heavy sound that hits right in the heart.

Next year, Larkin Poe are taking the record on tour, visiting venues all over the UK and Europe. As well as O2 Academy Bristol on Tuesday 17 October, the duo will drop by UK venues O2 Academy Glasgow, Manchester's Albert Hall and London's Roundhouse.
