A special Christmas drinks trail is coming to Bristol this winter

Posted on: 16 Nov 2022

With December just around the corner, 12 Drinks of Bedminster follows on from the immense success of Bedminster Beer Trail back in the summer.

12 Drinks of Bedminster runs from Thursday 1 December until Saturday 31 December.

The month-long winter event will see participants journeying between 17 of Bedminster’s best-loved restaurants, wine bars, microbreweries, pubs, and bottle shops, collecting special prize draw stamps along the way.

Christmas, judging by the scent of mulled cider emitting from the Tobacco Factory, is well and truly upon us and Bedminster is the place to be when it comes to getting yourself in the Christmas spirit.

From this week, Festive lights are beginning to spring up all over Bedminster Parade, East Street and North Street, meaning that now is the perfect time to get Bristolians from BS3 and across the city, out and about, exploring South Bristol’s very own winter wonderland.

12 Drinks of Bedminster will bring together the area’s bustling bar and restaurant scene with a brand-new trail organised by the Bedminster Beer Trail team. Through the trail, visitors will have the opportunity to discover and get to know the community and the fantastic independents that are its pride and joy.

Those taking part can visit 17 of BS3’s best independent restaurants, bars, pubs and bottle shops, enjoying a drink while collecting stamps from 12 of them. As the event is running throughout December, participants are encouraged to complete the trail over the course of the month.

It’s not only beer on offer, participants can also try something new this December from local craft cider to organic wines, cocktails and whiskey. Non-alcoholic beverages will also be available, meaning that 12 Drinks of Bedminster is an event open to all.

Once visitors have handed in their 12 stamp cards back to one of the venues involved, they will be entered into a big prize draw with each of the stops offering a prize.

The participating venues are Bristol Beer Factory Taproom, Tobacco Factory, The Malago, Hen and Chicken, Viva La Mexicana, The Old Bookshop, Steam Crane, Bruhaha, Grain Alchemist, Kask, Spirited, The Coronation, On Point Brewing, Alpha Bottle Shop & Tap, The Spotted Cow, Native Vine and North Street Standard.

12 Drinks of Bedminster runs from Thursday 1 December until Saturday 31 December with stamp cards available at each of the trail stop-off points, so head on down to BS3 and discover your new favourite independent!
