Set times announced for Bristol Sounds 2022

Kicking off tomorrow (Wednesday 22 June) with Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds, the annual summer festival is back in full force this week.

 

Bristol Sounds have today confirmed set times for their six shows taking place each day from Wednesday till Monday at Lloyds Amphitheatre.

 

The Noel Gallagher show will be followed by Paolo Nutini on Thursday, Elbow on Friday, Jungle on Saturday and First Aid Kit on Sunday before The War On Drugs close the celebrated open-air concert series.

Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds

Wednesday 22 June

 

Returning to Bristol after a triumphant set on The Downs in 2016, the ex-Oasis man is sure to attract a large crowd. Doors open at 18:30 with support, Confidence Man, on at 19:35 before the man himself takes to the stage at 20:50.

Paolo Nutini

Thursday 23 June

 

Returning to the site that he wowed with his 2014 show, this rare chance this year to see the Scottish singer-songwriter has long sold out. Doors again open at 18:30 with support Brooke Combe also playing at 19:45. Paolo Nutini’s set begins at 21:00 with curfew at 22:40.

Elbow

Friday 24 June

 

Indie starlets Elbow, fronted by the charismatic Guy Garvey, are next up. Doors are once again at 18:30, opener Jesca Hoop takes to the stage 19:15 before main support The Magic Numbers play at 20:15.

 

Salford band Elbow will then kick off the weekend with a 21:30 show before curfew at 23:00. Tickets for the Friday can be found here.

Jungle

Saturday 25 June

 

With a first all-dayer in Bristol Sounds history, the Saturday at Bristol Harbourside is sure to attract plenty of revellers. The warm-up set times are as follows: doors (14:30), Ujima Radio DJs (14:30), Porij (16:00), Joel Culpepper (17:00), IBIBIO Sound (18:30), Kelly Lee Owens (20:00).

 

Headliners Jungle’s set begins at 21:30 before curfew at 23:00. Tickets are available here.

First Aid Kit

Sunday 26 June

 

Swedish indie-folk sisters, First Aid Kit, are next up at Bristol Sounds 2022. Doors open at 16:00 along with the day’s DJs, opener Bess Atwell begins at 18:00 before Bristol favourite Katy J Pearson’s set at 19:15.

 

Globally renowned duo First Aid Kit will then perform from 20:30 before an earlier curfew at 22:00. Tickets for this one can still be found here.

The War On Drugs

Monday 27 June

 

Closing this year’s Bristol Sounds in US rockers The War On Drugs. Doors for this show are at 18:30 with Nashville singer-songwriter Soccer Mommy playing at 19:15 before headliners and Philadelphia 7-piece, The War On Drugs close proceedings at 20:15.

 

Curfew for the last night of the festival is at 22:30 and tickets are available here.
