A little less conversation, a little more Lights, Camera, Action!

Bristol's Everyman Cinema is hosting an exclusive launch party for a brand-new Elvis biopic, premiering in theatres nationwide on Friday 24 June.

To mark the occasion, Everyman is inviting locals to a night of 50s glamour, complete with an all-American menu, live music, complimentary cocktails and more.

Tickets for the event, kicking off at 20:30, are on sale now and can be found here.

Directed by Baz Luhrmann, Elvis premiered at the Cannes Film Festival last Wednesday (25 May), ahead of its global release next month.

Telling the story of one of the most iconic recording artists of all time, the film sees Austin Butler play the titular role, supported by Tom Hanks as Elvis Presley's manager, Colonel Tom Parker.

To celebrate the film's UK release in June, Everyman Bristol are hosting a screening with a twist, serving up a range of American-inspired cocktails alongside a full American food menu.

A 50s dress code encourages attendees to arrive in their fanciest petticoats, brightest red lipstick and pomade, in honour of a golden era of American music and style.

Opened in 2016, Everyman Bristol is a beautifully restored art-deco Picturehouse located on Whiteladies Road.

Boasting a warm and friendly atmosphere, an excellent food and drink selection, fantastic customer service and sofa-like seating, a visit to Everyman is more than just a cinema experience.

Tickets for their Elvis launch party, It's Now Or Never, are on sale now, priced at £40 per person. Find out more about the event and secure your tickets here.

Alternatively, head to the Everyman website to find out what else is coming up at the cinema in 2022.
