Derren Brown is bringing his latest live show to Bristol in May
Posted on: 13 Apr 2022The multi-award-winning illusionist will be performing four shows at The Bristol Hippodrome next month.
Derren Brown is just weeks away from the Bristol leg of his critically-acclaimed Showman tour, set to arrive in the city for a six-show run at The Bristol Hippodrome between Tuesday 24 and Saturday 28 May.
Having been away from the limelight for a while, Brown has burst back into the UK mainstream with one of his most ambitious productions to date, which features, according to the man himself, “some extraordinary demonstrations of my voodoo”.

Announcing the details of his latest tour in 2021, Derren Brown said 'Showman' is "about remembering what's important, like how the very things that we find most isolating in life - our fears and difficulties - actually connect us."
Developed for the stage pre-COVID, Brown went on to explain that the all-new production mirrors the situation we've found ourselves in over the course of the pandemic, but is electing to keep the details a closely-guarded secret.
"All I can reveal is that the show will ultimately be about you, the audience member, because that’s what I find most interesting," he added.
"There are places I’d like to take the audience where we haven’t been before. I always aim to have it deliver more than you'd expect.
"I’m excited to be at the starting point of that process. Getting it on the road will be my favourite part of the year."
Performing to over 1.6 million people worldwide during an illustrious stage career, Derren Brown is rightly regarded among the UK's all-time great entertainers.
His inimitable live shows have won him two Olivier Awards and earned him the most nominations than any other one-man show in theatre history.
