The West Bristol Arts trail is returning this weekend

Posted on: 13 Oct 2021

Local creators will showcase their work to the public for free.

The annual West Bristol Arts trail will return this weekend (Saturday 16 and Sunday 17 October) to celebrate the work of artists living in Clifton, Clifton Wood, Hotwells, and Redland.

From 11:00 to 17:00, approximately 50 venues will invite visitors to come and view the work of 100 participating creators for free.

Most artists will exhibit their work from home or their studio, although there will be a handful of public spaces used for the trail.

Visitors will have the opportunity to discuss the artwork with its creators, purchase items from them, or commission something unique.

The trail will be officially opened on Friday 15 October by distinguished artist and photographer Derek Balmer from 18:30 - 20:00 at Clifton High School.

This year's event will be the first to take place since 2019 after the pandemic forced organisers to cancel 2020's edition.
