Love Saves The Day confirm new location for 2022 edition

Posted on: 29 Sep 2021

One of Bristol's biggest and best-loved festivals will be celebrating its tenth birthday in brand-new surroundings.

Love Saves The Day will be taking place at a brand-new location in 2022, organisers have confirmed, with the huge two-day festival set to take over Bristol's Ashton Court for the very first time.

Taking place on an extended Bank Holiday in honour of the Queen's Platinum Jubilee - Thursday 2 & Friday 3 June - the festival promises to be one of the most ambitious editions of Love Saves The Day yet, marking its milestone tenth birthday.

Early bird tickets are due to go on sale at 10:00 on Thursday 30 September, but are expected to sell out fast - find out more and get yours here.

Revealing the new location for Love Saves The Day 2022 this week, festival founder Tom Paine said:

“The Love Saves journey over the last decade has been an amazing one, it’s phenomenal to see the growth over the last 10 years. Starting out in the early days at Castle Park, then to Eastville and more recently the Downs… it’s been quite a ride.

“But now it’s time for a new chapter in the Love Saves story and Ashton Court is an incredibly exciting move for us.

"It’s going to allow us to really expand the event in so many ways; bigger and more spectacular stages, bigger capacities and the biggest line-ups we’ve ever had…and we get the bonus of an extra-long bank holiday.”

Following its postponement due to the coronavirus pandemic in 2020, Love Saves The Day returned in early September for a one-off festival on The Downs, showcasing forward-thinking live music and DJ sets from an array of renowned artists.

The festival, organised by celebrated local events brand Team Love, has established itself as one of Bristol's best-loved annual events, regularly drawing crowds of more than 50,000 attendees.

Early Bird tickets for Love Saves The Day 2022 go on sale at 10:00 on Thursday 30 September and can be found here
