Trinity Bristol issues call out for performers

Posted on: 16 Sep 2021

The iconic venue issued the call-out as part of their search for new work to be performed during their programme of shows in Spring 2022.

Trinity Bristol is looking for performance-ready theatre, dance, spoken word and cross-art form that responds to the themes of arts and resistance and social activism.

Shows must approach the theme in an exciting and innovative way that is relevant to the venue's diverse audience and must inspire and engage.

Sound like you/your production? The deadline for applications is at 9:00 on Monday 4 October. Find more info and an application pack here.

The venue is searching for small to medium scale productions that can be presented outside of the traditional raked seat format that has not been performed in its final state previously.

Performances will take place across two seasons between 31 January - 2 March 2022 and 1 April and 31 June 2022, with more than one show being scheduled in a day occasionally.

Shows must also be able to engage Trinity's community through wrap-around activities such as Q&As and workshops.

The venue is offering travel, accommodation, expenses and performance fees alongside technical support and advice from staff on building an audience.
