The charity are going back in time to mark three decades of life-saving support for children.

The South West arm of nationwide charity Children's Hospice South West have announced plans for a huge 90s-themed fundraising weekend to celebrate their milestone 30th anniversary.

The team are inviting the public to throw their own 90s parties from Friday 17 to Sunday 19 September, in the hope that all money raised will enable the ongoing support of children and their families affected by life-threatening conditions and illnesses.

Hosts are encouraged to sign up for discounted early bird registration here, where they'll receive a full party box complete with 90s-themed tattoos, paperchains, bunting, posters, sweets and a selfie kit to make sure their party is a night to remember.

First registered with the UK charity commission in 1991, Children's Hospice South West deliver a range of services including short breaks, specialist play, musical therapy, activities for siblings, emergency care, end of life care, bereavement support and specialist medical care.

Their free-to-access support system is up and running 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, operating out of three hospice sites in Bristol, Barnstaple and St Austell.

The charity runs solely on voluntary contributions and donations, and is dedicated to making the most of short and precious lives, providing the best-possible care for life-limited children and their families.

Now, their Back to the 90s weekend presents a fantastic opportunity for the public to have some fun while raising vital funds to support their work.

Alongside the physical party box, registered hosts will be provided with an array of downloadable extras, from a 90s playlist to a gin cocktail-making class, 90s makeup tutorials and a magic show for young party-goers.

The hospice team have also set up a dedicated Facebook event page for the weekend, allowing hosts to share tips and inspiration.
