It's competition time!

 

With the UK government set to remove all COVID-related restrictions on nightlife and entertainment venues nationwide from Monday 19 July, the Bristol Hippodrome team are back in full swing preparing for their first live performances in almost 18 months.

 

In celebration of the return of Bristol's biggest theatre venue, we're giving away two pairs of tickets to see an evening performance of Grease on Tuesday 21 September.

We all know the story: after a whirlwind summer romance, greaser Danny and girl-next-door Sandy are unexpectedly reunited in senior year. But can they survive the trials and tribulations of teenage life and find true love once more?

 

Armed with a phenomenal score, Grease the Musical bursts with hits, including 'Greased Lightnin', 'Summer Lovin' and 'You’re The One That I Want'. 

 

The latest iteration has proved a universal hit and received rave reviews from The Telegraph, The Times and The Guardian.

 

Following on from a successful run with the show in 2019, Peter Andre is set to return to the Grease cast, reprising his roles as both Teen Angel and Vince Fontaine.

 

Speaking ahead of this year's tour, he said: "I was so thrilled to have been returning to Grease this year as I had the most wonderful time on the last tour working with our incredible cast and creative team, I can’t wait to get back out there performing with them.

 

"Grease is joyous and will truly allow you to escape to a different time, with show-stopping dance routines and some of the most iconic songs of all time.

 

"It's a show about solidarity and it celebrates friendship, which is even more important now with how the last 12 months have been. As the song goes, We Go Together!"

To enter, all you need to do is visit our Contact Us page. Fill out the form with your full name and email, and pop 'Grease' in the 'Your Message' box.

 

The closing date is Thursday 19 August, and we'll be announcing two lucky winners on Friday 20 August. Good luck!

 

The prize is as stated, and no cash or other alternatives will be offered. The tickets are not transferable. Prizes are subject to availability, and we reserve the right to substitute any prize with another of equivalent value without giving notice. The winner will be notified by email within 28 days of the closing date. If the winner cannot be contacted or do not claim the prize within 7 days of notification, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner. The winner agrees to the use of their name and image in any publicity material, as well as their entry. Any personal data relating to the winner, or any other entrants will be used solely in accordance with current [UK] data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party without the entrant’s prior consent. However, the winner agrees for their contact details to be given to The Bristol Hippodrome. The winner accepts responsibility for checking the performance is suitable for those accompanying them to the theatre. The winner understands that tickets allocated will require the use of stairs to access, The Bristol Hippodrome is a listed building and has no lift access.
