7 rescheduled gigs at the O2 Academy Bristol
Posted on: 08 Jul 2021After nearly 18 months of the Covid-19 related restrictions that have caused endless gig postponements, chances are the dates on any tickets you've been hopefully holding onto are constantly shuffling.
We're here to help you make sense of an increasingly knotty situation. So, here are some of the gigs at the O2 Academy that have been rescheduled.
Caribou I Tuesday 25 January 2022
The Canadian producer was due to end a five-year hiatus from gigs on Tuesday 11 May 2021, before Covid-19 forced him to prolong his absence from the stage.
Alas, the date for his return has been re-set. Caribou's new music will hit Bristol's O2 Academy on Tuesday 25 January 2022. If you already have tickets, hold on to them - they will still be valid. You should also hear from a ticket agent in the coming months.
Everything Everything I Monday 11 April 2022
Originally due to grace the O2 Academy with their brand of off-kilter indie rock on March 30 2021, for obvious reasons, the Manchester-based four-piece were forced to postpone.
The gig will now take place on Monday 11 April 2022. Once again, if you already have tickets, hold on to them. If not, follow this link and grab yourself some!
Soul II Soul I Saturday 22 January 2022
Famous for hits such as 'Back to Life' and 'Keep on Movin', London collective Soul II Soul have spent much of the time since their formation on the road, with club residencies across the globe.
Their next trip to Bristol has been pushed back and will now be on Saturday 22 January 2022. Keep your tickets if you have them or grab yourself some here.
James Vincent McMorrow I Tuesday 22 February 2022
With his fifth studio album, Grapefruit Season, due to be released next week, the Dublin-born singer-songwriter was supposed to embark upon a headline UK tour to support his latest effort this summer.
McMorrow has been forced to push his tour back and is now due to arrive in Bristol on Tuesday 22 February 2022. Make sure you keep your tickets or buy some here.
Echo and the Bunnymen I Sunday 20 February 2022
Celebrating the songs that secured them 20 top 20 hits and nine top 20 albums, Echo and the Bunnymen will now play at the O2 Academy on Sunday 20 February 2022, rescheduled from May 2021.

Doves I Monday 28 February 2022
For the first time in over a decade, Doves are embarking on a UK tour after being bowled over by the response to their new music.
Originally due to play Bristol's O2 Academy in March 2021, the Manchester three-piece will not take to the stage on Monday 28 February 2022. Keep your tickets if you already have them, or buy some here.
Street Pulse I May 12 2022
UK reggae revolutionaries Street Pulse are set to continue their 40-year tenure as a global powerhouse with their latest album, Mass Manipulation.
Twice rescheduled from May 2020 and 2021, Street Pulse will finally appear at Bristol's O2 Academy on May 12 2022. Keep hold of your tickets if you already have them or get your hands on some here.
