No need to pop to the shops this weekend - BARBI have got you covered.

It's the penultimate weekend of the 2021 Six Nations, but with pubs and bars across Bristol still closed for the time being, fans have no choice but to watch the action unfold with a beer in front of the telly.

It's not all doom and gloom though - you might not be able to return to your local this weekend, but you can enjoy some of Bristol's very best craft beers and ciders at home, courtesy of the new BARBI App.

From today (Friday 11 March), stock your fridge up with a range of Bristol-made tipples, available for collection or delivery from renowned city centre venue The Lanes, Clifton bottle shop Absolutely Anchored and infamous 'cat pub' Bag of Nails.

Launched in February, the BARBI delivery app was set up and rolled out to rival the likes of Deliveroo and Uber Eats with the aim of offering increased support for the local economy.

Built by Bristol, for Bristol, the BARBI App offers drastically reduced commissions compared to the current market leaders, as well as increasing the low wages offered to delivery drivers and riders.

Offering commission rates of just 15% per order - down from as much as 35% from leading delivery apps - BARBI are looking to safeguard the future of Bristol's hospitality industry, ensuring independents keep a much larger share of their income during lockdown.

The project has received a wave of support from across the city's independent business community as well as the public, and is currently home to over 50 hospitality venues.

Now, as well as an extensive range of food on offer, you can stock up on craft beers and ciders brewed locally to Bristol, with draught containers, bottles and cans to choose from.

From Fierce & Noble to Moor Beer, Arbor Ales, Severn Brewery and more, explore some of Bristol's very best beer this weekend via the BARBI App.

To find out more and download the app today, head to the BARBI website.
