Celeste announces Bristol show as part of debut UK headline tour

Posted on: 02 Feb 2021

The fast-rising soul singer will be performing six headline shows in spring 2022.

Emerging singer-songwriter Celeste has confirmed dates for her eagerly-awaited debut headline tour, set to take her across the UK in March and April 2022 in support of her recently-released album, Not Your Muse.

Alongside shows in Birmingham, Glasgow, Cambridge, Manchester and her hometown of London, she'll be performing live at Bristol's O2 Academy on Sunday 3 April.

Tickets for next year's tour go on general sale at 09:00 on Friday 5 February and can be found here.

Widely recognised as one of the most exciting artists to have emerged from the UK scene in recent years, Celeste has experienced a remarkable rise since breaking out in 2019.

Despite being unable to tour or perform on the festival circuit, the Los Angeles-born vocalist has captivated TV audiences and seen her music used in both Netflix's The Trial of the Chicago 7 and John Lewis' most recent Christmas advert.

Now, Celeste is determined to get back out on the road in support of her critically-acclaimed debut album, Not Your Muse, having had sell-out shows at London's Shepherds Bush Empire and a tour alongside Michael Kiwanuka cancelled due to the ongoing coronavirus crisis.

Speaking on the release of Not Your Muse back in December, Celeste said: "In making this album I have allowed myself to arrive at a place where I feel empowered, fiercely wide-eyed and fulfilled.

"I'm very proud of what I've achieved on my debut album and to be in this position, after the year that has been, I feel nothing but gratitude and excitement. I hope you enjoy it.”

Tickets for Celeste live at Bristol's O2 Academy on Sunday 3 April 2022 go on sale at 09:00 on Friday 5 February and can be found here.
