Find out what it's like to study Contemporary Circus and Physical Theatre with an internationally-recognised centre of excellence.

Circomedia will be hosting a free virtual BTEC open day at 12:00 on Saturday 5 December to allow prospective students to find out about what makes their courses so unique, providing valuable insight into the centre’s two-year Extended Diploma in Contemporary Circus and Physical Theatre.

If you are aged 16-18 and have ever found yourself curious about getting into Contemporary Circus and Physical Theatre, then this is the event for you.

Over the course of two-and-a-half hours, you'll get the chance to watch a live student performance and ask questions in the live student & Teacher Q&A.

During the open day, there will also be a wonderful opportunity to join a participatory session, meet other students, and get a feel for the rewarding future that you are set to have with Circomedia.

Circomedia has an international reputation for its unique integration of physical theatre with contemporary circus.

Founded over 30 years ago, Circomedia rose from the ashes of Britain’s first ever circus school, setting itself apart from other circus schools with its heavy emphasis on combining traditional circus skills with physical theatre and creativity.

Studying at Circomedia, you will be led by experts in the field to develop an innovative and imaginative approach to circus and physical theatre.

This BTEC course will introduce you to a range of circus disciplines (aerial, juggling, acrobatics, and balance) alongside classes in physical theatre, movement, and performance techniques.

Don't miss out! Visit the Circomedia website or find them on Facebook to find out more and book your place.
