Bristol-based charity Aid Box Community are weeks away from the 2020 opening of their popular annual Christmas store, selling everything from real trees to lights, stands, decorations and more.
Located on Gloucester Road, the pop-up aims to raise money for Aid Box Community's ongoing support of refugees and asylum seekers, funding outreach services and essential provisions for people in need.
As always, the charity are on the lookout for volunteers to give them a hand throughout the buildup to Christmas, with in-store and delivery roles available.

???? It’s coming up to our 5TH YEAR running our Christmas shop ????
We need YOUR HELP selling Refutrees - (guilt free Christmas trees) to raise essential funds. Could you help spread some Christmas cheer this year? https://t.co/ZZpSCBtRG0 pic.twitter.com/nqLrFcNEBs
Opening on Tuesday 1 December, the Aid Box Community Christmas store will be selling natural 'Refu-trees', Christmas lights, tree stands and homemade decorations to raise vital funds for their support work.
The store will be open daily from 10:30-19:00 until Wednesday 23 December, with morning (10:15-14:45) and afternoon (14:30-19:00) volunteer shifts available.
Much of the shop's operating takes place on the outdoor storefront, so any potential volunteers are encouraged to wrap up warm and bring some food along for their shifts.
Amid the ongoing coronavirus crisis, organisers from Aid Box Community will provide full PPE gear and ensure all operations are COVID-safe, minimising risk to staff and shoppers.
All profits from this year's Aid Box Community Christmas shop will enable the charity to continue supporting vulnerable refugees and asylum seekers in Bristol.
For more information on the project, or to find out more about volunteering roles available this December, head to the Aid Box Community website or get in touch with the team via email.
