Drink Out to Help Out at one of BS8's best-loved bars.

Whiteladies Road bar have launched their own unofficial Drink Out to Help Out scheme, encouraging the public to pick up some discounted takeaway drinks in an effort to sell off some unused stock during lockdown.

With litre containers up for grabs for just £6 each, you can enjoy great deals on draught beers and ciders sourced from some of the best breweries in Bristol, including Lost & Grounded, Moor Beer and Arbor Ales among others.

Drinks will be served in 1L PET containers to be collected for takeaway, poured direct from Flipside's taps. To place an order for collection, text 07907 768 164 or call 0117 946 6144.

With pubs across Bristol and beyond set to remain closed until Wednesday 2 December at the earliest, owners are coming up with creative ways to sell surplus produce as open kegs near their use-by dates.

The Crofters Rights and Lakota both ran deals and invited people to 'drink their bars dry' ahead of lockdown, while The Lazy Dog started selling 5L mini-kegs before they were forced to close their doors.

Having installed a brand-new 20-tap setup in August, Flipside have been proudly stocking a wide range of locally-made beers and ciders for the past few months, celebrating the very best the city has to offer.

As a result, they're offering a huge selection at the new reduced rate of £6 per litre, from Moor Beer, Fierce & Noble, Jubel, Tapestry, Arbor Ales, Wiper and True, Lost & Grounded and the Cotswold Cider Co.
