Cosies! to reopen this weekend

Cosies! to reopen this weekend

Posted on: 06 Oct 2020

The much-loved Portland Square venue has been closed since March.

The Cosies team have revealed they're finally ready to reopen this weekend, set to host their first events in over six months as part of the Cosies Comeback Weekender.

Taking place across Saturday 10 and Sunday 11 October, expect reggae, rum, jerk chicken and an unbeatable Cosies vibe as one of central Bristol's best-loved venues celebrate their long-awaited return to action.

Space is, of course, seriously limited in the cosy basement space and tables are selling fast - find out more and book your tickets here.

Sorely missed on the Bristol music scene, Cosies will be making their comeback this weekend in trademark style, spinning an eclectic range of music across four seated sessions.

Just ten tables are available for each session, taking place from 14:30-18:00 and 18:30-22:00 on Saturday and again on Sunday, with a soundtrack provided by a selection of top-notch DJs and long-standing Cosies residents.

Revinyl and Music4Lovers will be taking over the two Saturday sessions, before a Reggae Sunday Dub Club takeover on Sunday hosted by Jah Lokko, Apollo & Alexia, Roots Injection and Connroy & Bass-I.

Food will be provided across the weekend by none other than Bristol Jerk Chicken King, certain to add some extra heat to proceedings.

In line with current government COVID guidelines, Cosies will require one person per group to register on a track and trace service upon entry. All attendees must wear face masks at all times unless sat at a table.

Tickets for the Cosies Comeback Weekender are available from just £10 per table - find out more here and book your tickets for Saturday or Sunday via Headfirst.
