The new restaurant and bar takes over the former Lloyds Bank building on Church Road following a major renovation.

A new venture from the team behind the Christmas Steps pub, The Spotted Cow on North Street and Crack Magazine opens its doors to the public today.

The Red Church in St George was due to open in April, but the opening date was pushed back due to coronavirus.

Finally, the venue opens today, Friday 2 October. Take a look inside. The Red Church

A steel frame mezzanine has been installed for extra seating options upstairs, and the windows at the front of the building have been extended to allow maximum natural light.

The highly-anticipated new opening is home to an all-day menu, headed up by the former head chef of The Ethicurean.

Monday to Saturday, expect brunch from 10:00, neapolitan style pizza from midday and a modern European menu at dinner, plus traditional roasts on Sundays served from noon.

On the bar, enjoy local beers from Arbor, Bristol Beer Factory, Lost and Grounded and Twisted Oak, plus wine from local operators.Food at The Red ChurchDessert at The Red Church

The new restaurant and bar, which has transformed the former Lloyds Bank building on Church Road, also boasts a state of the art sound system.

The system was sourced from the legendary production unit Pinewood Studios and underwent a week-long tuning process to ensure its sound quality.

It'll be put to the test when top Bristol DJs play the venue every Friday and Saturday.

The venue will also encourage the public to use its open record policy, where guests can choose vinyl from the venue's extensive and regularly updated collection.
