Get up close and personal with two of the greatest darts players of all-time.

Two legendary darts players are set to appear in Bristol next year as Modus Sports' Icons of Darts tour touches down at Ashton Gate Stadium on Friday 23 April.

In the world of darts, they don't come much bigger than Phil 'The Power' Taylor and Raymond van Barneveld, and the pair will be taking fans down memory lane and showcasing their world-renowned talents on stage in BS3 as part of a nationwide run of events.

Due to take place in October 2020, the initial Bristol leg was postponed due to the ongoing coronavirus crisis, but has now been successfully rescheduled. Find out more and book your tickets here.

Having both recently retired and closed the curtains on incredibly successful playing careers, Taylor and van Barneveld certainly rank among the greatest to ever play the game.

Taylor, in particular, is widely regarded as the best of all time, having won an incredible sixteen World Championship titles across a glittering 33-year tenure.

Raymond van Barneveld, meanwhile, put darts on the map in his native Holland, winning five World Championships.

One of his most famous victories came following a dramatic 2007 final, when he kept his cool to come out on top against Taylor in a sudden-death leg.

Now, set to take the stage together in less competitive circumstances, Taylor and van Barneveld will appear at Ashton Gate Stadium in April to take fans through their time at the top of the game, and play a few rounds on the night.

A range of tickets are available for the event, including Gold, VIP and Platinum passes. Holders of a Gold pass will receive a complimentary event programme, while VIP packages include entry to a meet and greet opportunity prior to the main event.

Platinum ticket holders will be invited to an exclusive player reception in the players' practice room, and will be in with a chance of winning a leg of darts on the main stage against one of the professionals.
