Presenting a diverse programme of LGBTQ+ films from across the world, Queer Vision returns from September 18 to October 11.
This year the festival is partnering with the Encounters Film Festival who will host Queer Vision’s film selections on their online streaming platform.
Encounters Film Festival is the UK’s top short film, animation and VR festival, based in Bristol.
Encounters’ 26th edition coincides with Queer Vision, meaning a £10 digital festival pass enables viewers to access all of the films being shown at each celebration.
We can’t wait for you to experience all that Encounters 2020 has to offer! Find out more about our programme at https://t.co/hhltpg2JZx! pic.twitter.com/HUVhW3f02U

Each year, as a selection partner, Queer Vision takes submissions for the Iris Prize, an international LGBTQ+ film competition.
Pass holders will also have the chance to watch Queer Vision’s shortlist of films for this year’s Best of British category, alongside a handpicked selection of work from the 2019 festival winners.
The shortlist includes several documentaries, including one that sheds light on the challenges of what it is like to be queer and Muslim.
Another tells the story of Arcoiris, a group of LGBTQ+ human rights defenders in Honduras. It's titled ‘We are not who they say we are’.
The shortlist is also home to animation and drama. Audiences will be able to vote for their 'Audience Winner' on the Encounters online streaming portal.
To accompany its eclectic film programme, Queer Vision 2020 will also include cult classic watch parties, Q&As and introductions, and a networking event for LGBTQ+ filmmakers on 7 October.
Purchase a festival pass for £10 on the Encounters website: www.encounters.film/passes/festivalpass.
The festival takes place on a secure digital hub which will be available from September 18 to October 11 inclusive, giving you more than three weeks to explore the full programme at your leisure.
