The Crofters Rights to reopen this Friday

Posted on: 14 Sep 2020

The popular Stokes Croft venue will reopen with a sit-down party hosted by Distilled Music.

The team behind The Crofters Rights have revealed they're finally ready to reopen this Friday, following months of closure as a result of the coronavirus crisis.

Despite pubs and outdoor spaces reopening back in July, Crofters took the decision to keep their doors closed until they could establish a viable way to host socially-distanced live music programming.

Now, The Crofters Rights is gearing up to host its first (sit-down) event in more than five months, as Distilled Music resident Thor provides the soundtrack for an eagerly-awaited, free-to-attend reopening party.

Inside The Crofters Rights.

One of the longest-running and best-loved small venues in central Bristol, The Crofters Rights has been home to a diverse gig and event schedule for the best part of eight years.

From live music from an array of exciting up-and-coming local acts to late-night DJ sets from some of the UK's most in-demand artists, Crofters makes use of its intimate backroom performance area to host some truly standout nights.

While the venue has been closed, the Crofters Rights team opened a brand-new beer garden around the corner on Picton Street, serving up a range of fresh drinks and pizzas to eager attendees under the summer sunshine.

The Picton Street Summer Garden was laid out to emulate a traditional German Biergarten, and is set to remain open until at least the end of September.
