The renowned comedy and magic bar is finally ready to reopen after months of closure.

Much-loved live comedy and magic bar Smoke & Mirrors has announced plans to reopen in early September, having been closed to the public since March as a result of the coronavirus outbreak.

Set to reopen on Thursday 3 September, the venue team have been hard at work establishing an adapted live programme and implementing new measures to ensure a safe return to business.

Expect mind-blowing trickery from Smoke & Mirrors' House Magicians, stellar standup from an array of local acts and much more as Bristol's leading live comedy and magic bar deliver a range of new shows and performances.

Taking bookings now, Smoke & Mirrors are preparing for a jam-packed schedule for the rest of 2020, making up for lost time with a variety of top-notch live entertainment.

As well as their Close-up Magic experience and Comedy & Magic shows, Smoke & Mirrors are set to host the return of Bunch of Japes, their popular in-house standup show hosted by Dani Johns and Jessie Nixon.

With the likes of Romesh Ranganathan, Alan Carr, Jayde Adams and many more of the nation's top comedians among those to have performed at Smoke & Mirrors over the years, don't be surprised to see a special guest act or two thrown into the mix.

Local standup Mark Olver will be getting involved too, fresh off the back of hosting Russell Howard's return to the live circuit at Lakota Gardens in July.
