The boutique cinema is screening new flicks, family favourites and cult classics.

Good news, film fans! Everyman Cinema Bristol, located on Whiteladies Road, is back open for business, following an extended closure due to COVID-19.

To celebrate, the plush cinema and bar is screening a whole load of films; from cult classics to family favourites, to brand-new flicks.

And, to keep staff and film fans safe, the venue has introduced a range of new safety measures in line with the latest government guidelines. Here’s what you need to know.

Over the weekend, Everyman Bristol is showing just-released films including war drama Summerland, mystery thriller Unhinged, and action drama Proxima.

To bolster the offering, they’re also showing family-friendly films like Trolls World Tour, Back to the Future and The Dark Knight.

Then, on Friday 7 August, the cinema will host a ‘Mean Girls House Party’ – it’s a screening of Mean Girls, with pizza and wine included in the ticket price. Tickets cost just £15 for Adults, so book while you can.

That’s just to name a few, so head over to the Everyman Cinema website to check out the full schedule.

Now for the new safety measures. Everyman asks that visitors book online, or on the Everyman app, prior to arrival to avoid queuing.

From Saturday 8 August, people will have to wear masks in cinemas by law.

The venue will also operate with limited capacity, cashless payments, and ensure more time between each screening to ensure thorough cleaning between films.

Excitingly, the cinema is still operating its bar and food service, and staff will continue to deliver food and drink orders to customers at their seats.

(At Everyman, you can grab more than just a bag of popcorn. The cinema serves hot food, like nachos and burgers, plus dessert.)
