The Haunted & Hidden Bristol Walking Tour is running again.

The streets of Bristol are packed with vibrant street art, busy restaurants and stylish shops – but it wasn't always like that.

No, if you dig a little deeper, you can find a much darker, grisly side to the city, all of which you can explore as part of the Haunted & Hidden Bristol Walking Tour.

Departing every Friday from the Bristol Cathedral at 20:00, the tour combines creepy buildings, Bristol trivia and TV locations - all delivered with a healthy dose of humour.

Following a short hiatus due to COVID-19, the walking tour is now up and running again for those who book in advance. Here's what you need to know.

Bristol Walking Tour

A chance to uncover the city's 'haunted' hotspots, the tour takes journeys through central Bristol and Clifton. Take a look at the route here

During the 75-minute walking tour, walkers visit a C16th house, hear about a church and its ghostly monk inhabitant, and see a haunted cinema.

As well as some chilling insights into Bristol's past, the tour comes packed with trivia about the city, plus film and TV insights. Participants get to visit familiar film locations from programmes like Doctor Who.

The Haunted & Hidden Bristol Walking Tour was established back in 2004, and has been featured on Living TV's 'Most Haunted'. Since its foundation, the tour has entertained thousands of thrill-seekers.

The Haunted & Hidden Bristol Walking Tour is now running every Friday, departing from Bristol Catherdral at 20:00.
