Blue Mountain to host series of open-air silent discos

Drum & Bass fans can finally get their fix across four socially-distanced parties at Blue Mountain this month.

Music is finally back on the menu at Blue Mountain as lockdown measures start to ease in the UK, with four huge Drum & Bass Silent Discos ready to take over the club's roof terrace over the next two weeks.

Taking place between 23:00-02:00 on Friday 17, Saturday 18, Friday 24 and Saturday 25 July, Drum & Bass Silent Disco invites renowned DJs and producers to play some of the first sets at Blue Mountain since the club was forced to close in March due to the outbreak of coronavirus.

Covering the full spectrum of drum & bass, including liquid, jungle, jump up and more, Blue Mountain's Silent Disco series is set to feature some top talent from across Bristol and beyond, including AC13, Tribe Steppaz and Ben Snow.

After a huge Jungle Massive showcase to kick things off on Friday 17 July, expect jump up from the Bristol Bass Collective on Saturday 18, rollers and liquid from Rollin' on Friday 24 and classic drum & bass on Saturday 25 as the Bristol Bass Collective take over once more to close the series.

Attendees will be given a pair of headphones upon entry, and are asked to keep hold of them for the entire session. The organisers ask that you don't swap headphones during the event, and they'll need to be returned before leaving.

Tickets are on sale now and can be found here, available to purchase as a full table rather than individually. Tables can accommodate between four and six people and are priced at £50 (plus £5 booking fee), meaning you'd be paying roughly £8 per person for a full table.

Blue Mountain will be operating table service throughout the events, and groups will be offered a FREE round of shots (sambuca, tequila or Sourz) upon entry. There will also be food available to purchase.

In line with current government safety guidelines, there will be hand sanitiser available on-site, seating is mandatory throughout the events, temperature checks will be carried out on arrival and attendees will be required to stay within their groups or 'bubbles'.
