Posted on: 15 Jul 2020

The popular street food restaurant is open for bookings, collection and delivery.

Renowned Indian restaurant Dhamaka is officially back open for business, and is taking bookings for the first time in more than three months following an extended closure due to the outbreak of coronavirus.

Located on Clare Street in the heart of Bristol's Old City, Dhamaka has been serving up a mouth-watering variety of street food and Indian fusion dishes since opening in 2018.

With an emphasis on unique and authentic street food cooking, the Dhamaka kitchen team proudly take a different approach to other Indian restaurants in Bristol and across the UK.

From age-old dishes to contemporary offerings, the Indo-Chinese fusion cuisine typical of the Northern part of the country and everything in between, you can expect to find food from each and every corner of India on the Dhamaka menus.

Serving up the Kebabs of Lucknow, authentic chat food from Bombay, delicious Hyderabadi biryanis, traditional Delhi butter chicken and much more, Dhamaka is committed to giving Bristolians a taste of India's vibrant and diverse culinary heritage.

Having been delivering throughout lockdown, Dhamaka are now finally able to reopen for bookings, and have set the restaurant up according to government guidelines.

To ensure maximum safety of diners, the Dhamaka team will be carrying out in-depth cleaning at regular intervals, using disposable menus to minimise sharing of materials between bookings, and have installed a commercial glasswasher to sanitize glasses following each use.

Dhamaka is now open every evening from 17:00-22:45. Bookings can be made via the restaurant's website, over the phone on 0117 929 4007 or via email.
