Tonight: The Hobgoblin to reopen with new and improved beer garden

Posted on: 13 Jul 2020

The much-loved Gloucester Road bar is opening its doors tonight for the first time since 20 March.

The Hobgoblin is officially back open for business, taking bookings now ahead of what's sure to be a busy few days. Purveyors of some of the best burgers in the area and, of course, a wide range of drinks, the pub has been sorely missed during lockdown.

After spending a lot of time during of the last few months doing renovations both inside and out, The Hobgoblin team have posted a short video of the bar area ahead of tonight's reopening, complete with a track and trace QR code, hand sanitiser and new perspex screens.

The pub have also written up their own social distancing guidelines to go alongside the new measures, ensuring they can welcome people back as safely as possible.

Open from 17:00-22:00 Monday and Tuesday, 12:00-22:00 Wednesday and Sunday and 12:00-23:00 Thursday, Friday and Saturday, The Hobgoblin are now taking bookings via their Facebook page or over the phone on 0117 330 2997.

Famed for their mouth-watering burger menu, The Hobgoblin are right up there with the best of Bristol when it comes to pub grub, boasting a variety of fries to accompany a selection of more than 15 customisable burger creations.

Fans of the pub will be familiar with their hot wings challenge, too, which has seen locals and visitors put themselves to the test as they attempt to take down a plate of fiery wings, prepared with love by the kitchen team.

The Hobgoblin team have also been hard at work sprucing up their beer garden, which will be open to customers once the pub is back up and running.

We can only assume the pub will already be booked up for the coming days, but whether you've been craving a portion of Dirty Dirty Fries or you've never been to The Hobgoblin, we thoroughly recommend you book yourself in for a visit as soon as possible.
