Posted on: 07 Apr 2020

A Grade II listed shopping arcade in the heart of Bristol, The Arcade is home to several local, independent businesses.

But as the Coronavirus pandemic continues, The Arcade's independents have had to establish new ways to keep their businesses booming.

To keep their shoppers safe, businesses have established a range of new services and online portals.

Here's how a handful of The Arcade's businesses are dealing with the crisis, and how you can support them.

EK Hair

Specialist children's hair salon EK Hair has been super active on social media during lockdown.

One of their stylists, Nessa, is hosting occasional hair tutorials via Facebook live stream. The next one, a braiding workshop, is happening tomorrow at 16:00.

They're also sharing a range of handy testimonials, tips and tricks to help parents keep their kids' hair in shape whilst the salon is closed.

EK Hair is also offering contactless, local delivery of Tangle Teezers, to help keep the kids' hair tidy under lockdown.
